Here’s how to accept a vehicle transfer on the eCitizen portal:
- Log in to eCitizen: If youโve forgotten your password, you can reset it.
- Navigate to NTSA: Once logged in, scroll through the dashboard menu and open the NTSA (New) section. Log in using the eCitizen SSO.
- Check for Notifications: At the top of the NTSA dashboard, you should see a notification asking if you want to accept the vehicle. If you donโt see it, it could be due to one of two reasons:
- The transfer hasn’t been submitted by the seller.
- Thereโs an issue with the NTSA portal. In this case, be patient and keep trying.
- Accept or Reject the Transfer: If you see the notification, youโll have the option to accept or reject the transfer.If rejected, the application goes back to edit mode on the seller’s side.
- If accepted, fill in the necessary information about the collection and submit it. The transfer will then go through an approval stage. Once approved, your vehicle will appear on your NTSA dashboard.
- Post-Approval: Once the logbook is ready, you can book various NTSA services.
Common Reasons for Unsuccessful Vehicle Transfers:
- Unclear or incorrect logbook uploaded.
- Problems with the NTSA server during the upload or saving of your logbook.
By following these steps, you can easily accept a vehicle transfer on eCitizen without any hassle.
