Things you should know about Inspection Booking
Inspection Booking doesn’t show on the NTSA app
The vehicle booking usually doesn’t appear on the NTSA app. This issue has been ongoing since the system changes on January 1, 2024. However, don’t worry. Simply print the booking form and receipts and keep them in your car in case a police officer asks for a booking slip before the vehicle is inspected. After the inspection, you will receive an inspection report and an e-sticker. Print these documents and place the e-sticker on the windscreen to show that the vehicle has been inspected. Alternatively, you can download and store them on your phone in case they need to be uploaded anywhere.
You cannot Book for NTSA inspection using a phone or Tablet
Booking an inspection on NTSA using a phone or tablet can result in errors during submission, so it is recommended to use a laptop or PC.
Rescheduling Your NTSA inspection
Since the eCitizen NTSA update, users cannot reschedule an inspection booking. Therefore, when booking an inspection, be sure of the date you will take your vehicle for inspection. Additionally, the booked date must be within two weeks.
Taking your Vehicle For Inspection
On the inspection date and time, take your vehicle to the selected center as indicated on the inspection booking slip. If you miss the date, you have an additional 14 days to take the vehicle to the inspection center without needing to rebook.
