Tips & Troubleshooting
- After setting up the APN, if your internet still doesn’t work: try turning mobile data off and on, or restarting your device.
- Make sure you don’t have conflicting APNs: remove old or unused APN profiles.
- If you’re using a modem or MiFi, some devices need you to set the Access Number (dial code) — commonly
*99#for many Kenyan modems. - For devices that don’t automatically get settings: Safaricom users can dial
*445#(or send a blank SMS to 445), and they’ll receive configuration settings via SMS.
