Print Head Cleaning on an Epson Printer: The Ultimate Step-by-Step Guide

There is nothing more frustrating than hitting “Print” on an important document, only to watch your Epson printer spew out a page covered in faint, streaky, or completely missing lines.

Before we dive into the steps, let’s identify if a print head cleaning is even the right solution for you. A head clean is designed to fix print quality issues caused by clogged nozzles. Here are the specific problems it resolves:

You know that annoying look when your printout has horizontal or vertical lines running through it? That’s called banding, and a head clean is a primary solution for clearing it up.

❗ Faint or Light Prints

Step 2: Print a “Nozzle Check” Pattern
