Step-by-Step Guide to Transfer Vehicle Ownership

Step 1: Log in to eCitizen +
Log in to your/Vehicle Seller’s eCitizen account. After logging in, open the NTSA tab on your dashboard.
Step 2: Access the NTSA Service Portal +
Once inside the NTSA portal, you will see all vehicles registered under your/vehicle seller’s name. Click “View” next to the vehicle you want to transfer.
Step 3: Begin the Transfer Process +
Select “Vehicle Transfer,” confirm your/seller details, and input the buyer’s KRA PIN. Add any financier details if a financier has interest on the vehicle.
Step 4: Upload the Vehicle Logbook +
Upload a clean PDF copy of the logbook and verify all details before proceeding. If you have the logbook as an image, convert it to PDF using the tool below.
Step 5: Submit and Make Payment +
Click “Submit” and pay the required transfer fee. The amount varies depending on your vehicle’s rating.
